Superstar Program

Our Superstar program is an outreach program to engage individuals and groups in our community who would not otherwise have access to cultural events at the theatre. Our tickets are distributed to a number of local social service organizations when they become available.

Interested in becoming a recipient organization?

Registered non-profit organizations, operating with an office in the Comox Valley, are invited to submit a letter of request to participate in the Superstar program. Please include a description of the organization, the length of operation, the number of people served, and how it would benefit them. Letters can be dropped off at our box office or emailed to superstar@sidtheatre.com.

The program is designed to increase community access.

If you are interested in tickets to support fundraising efforts, please visit our Ticket Donation Requests page.

Please submit your letter of request to the Sid Williams Theatre (442 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay, BC V9N 2J2) or by email.

Youth Access to the Arts

Through the generous funding of TD Canada, donated and discounted tickets to most Blue Circle Series events are being provided to youth in our community (up to age 30).

Since the start of this access program, youth have attended Blue Circle Series events and participated in workshops and interactive activities with professional performing artists visiting our community.

Thank you, TD Canada!
