    Accessible Platform Seating

    A platform area for accessible seating (including wheelchairs) is located in Orchestra Centre at the rear of the auditorium. Seating configuration in this area is adaptable because seats are padded chairs and not fixed seating.

    We have a few seats to accommodate larger and taller body types in this section. There are chair options with or without arms. These chairs have a steel sled frame and 4 inch thick padding. Seat dimensions are 23 inches wide by 21 inches deep. The seat height is 18 inches.

    Seating in this area is limited and is available for purchase by phone 250-338-2430 or in person. Please inform our box office staff of any accessibility accommodations needed when purchasing tickets.

    Orchestra Level Seating

    Seats in the orchestra level are accessed by two sloping, carpeted aisles. The seats are fixed with a cushioned seat and padded seat back. Seat dimensions are 18 inches wide by 18 inches deep. The seat back is 21 inches high by 18 inches wide. All seats have immovable armrests.

    Balcony Level Seating

    Balcony level seating is accessible by stairs only. The staircase has 19 stairs. Seats in the balcony level are accessed by two staired, carpeted aisles. The seats are fixed with a cushioned seat and padded seat back. Seat dimensions are 18 inches wide by 18 inches deep. The seat back is 21 inches high by 18 inches wide. All seats have immovable armrests.

    Washrooms

    The theatre has two gender-neutral, single-occupancy accessible washrooms - one on the main (street) level and one on the lower (fountain) level.

    Elevator

    The theatre is equipped with a manually operated elevator for access between the main lobby and lower level (access to additional washrooms, green room, dressing rooms).

    Hearing Assist

    For patrons who would like enhanced listening, we provide a Williams AV Hearing Assist System at no charge. The system uses T55 FM transmitter and R37 FM receivers; it is simple to use and works with either standard headphones or a personal hearing aid via a neck loop.

    1. Pick up a receiver – visit the coat check desk to borrow a small receiver unit (you will need to leave name, contact info, and piece of ID.
