Symphony at the Sid: Electrifying Eroica

Our full orchestra returns to the stage, featuring the piece which we were rehearsing when our world was interrupted. Powerful symbolism permeates the work, the most perfect example of resilience in face of adversity. Also on the program, a new VIS commission featuring the words of Nanaimo Poet Laureate Tina Biello, with music by Vancouver composer Katerina Gimon.



Proof of Vaccination

All patrons will be required to show proof of vaccination using the BC COVID-19 Vaccine Card to attend events at the Sid Williams Theatre. Patrons ages 19 and over must also show a piece of government issued photo ID. Patrons under age 12 can attend events with a fully vaccinated adult. There are NO exceptions to this Public Health Order. For more info visit the BC government site.


All patrons ages 12 and over are required to wear a mask at all times, except while eating or drinking at their seat. Masks must cover the nose, mouth, and chin. As per the BC mask mandate, face shields are NOT considered a substitute for a mask.
