    Oh Pray Tell is a transdisciplinary music group – three-part harmonies grounded in banjo and stomp-clap-cajon rhythms carry poetry, stories and spoken word. Oh Pray Tell offers up an original, soulful sound influenced by gospel, rhythm & blues, roots music and folk storytelling.

    Their music is known for its emotional depth, themes of belonging and identity, and community-centered performances. Based in British Columbia, Turtle Island, Oh Pray Tell tours across rural and urban spaces, bringing messages of hope, resilience, and connection to audiences far and wide.

    Land Acknowledgement

    The Sid Williams Theatre Society respectfully acknowledges the theatre and society activities take place on the Unceded ancestral and traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation, traditional keepers of the “land of plenty”. K’ómoks is an amalgamation of Pentlatch, Island K’ómoks, and Kwakwaka’wakw. The Island K’ómoks Tribes include: sahtloot, säsitla, ieeksan, and xa’xe. We are in the Coast Salish region, land shared among the K’ómoks, Tla’amin (formerly Sliammon), Homalco, We Wai Kai and Wei Wai Kum, and Hul’qumi’num Treaty Group peoples since time immemorial.
