Get ready to raise the roof, Vancouver Island! Cape Breton is Calling...

Beòlach represents the finest of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, on Canada's Atlantic Coast. As a group, Beòlach are Juno Award nominees, Eastern Canada Music Award and Canadian Folk Award winners, to name just a few of their numerous accolades they have amassed over the 20 years they have graced the world with their formidable, innovative Celtic traditional tunes and beyond.

Each of the band members, master fiddler Wendy MacIsaac, the band's lead, with Mairi Rankin, Mac Morin, and Kenneth MacKenzie are internationally acclaimed artists in their own right. Not only are they household names in their native Atlantic Canada, but together as Beòlach, their down-home energy, wit, charm, and stories that accompany their formidable sound continue to enchant and uplift audiences everywhere.

More about Beòlach
More than 20 years ago, six dynamic solo performers came together for a late-night session during Celtic Colours. That session was the spark that lit Beòlach. During the next decade, Beòlach continued to grow artistically through their innovative and exciting arrangements of traditional Cape Breton, Scottish and Irish tunes for fiddle, bagpipes, piano and guitar. Their knowledge of, and passion for, this traditional music shows in their energy onstage, and the natural, easy wit and banter they exchange reflects lifelong friendships, a shared sense of fun, and years of experience as professional musicians.

They took charge as Artists in Residence at the Celtic Colours International Festival in 2019 where their most recent album, All Hands was released.

Beòlach has delighted audiences throughout the world with their original compositions and unique arrangements of traditional tunes and last October, they were one of three groups representing Canada at the World Expo in Dubai. Their three albums have earned nominations for East Coast Music Awards, Canadian Folk Music Awards, Nova Scotia Music Awards, of which they took home 5 and a JUNO nomination.
