    Axé Capoeira is pleased to present the Spring Showcase of Afro-Brazilian dance, music and martial arts. Come watch our local students perform martial arts and high flying acrobatics alongside master Mestre Testa and Brazilian master Mestre Barraozinho. Brazilian music and traditional dances from the north of Brazil will be showcased. Our students are excited to perform for you!

    Land Acknowledgement

    The Sid Williams Theatre Society respectfully acknowledges the theatre and society activities take place on the Unceded ancestral and traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation, traditional keepers of the “land of plenty”. K’ómoks is an amalgamation of Pentlatch, Island K’ómoks, and Kwakwaka’wakw. The Island K’ómoks Tribes include: sahtloot, säsitla, ieeksan, and xa’xe. We are in the Coast Salish region, land shared among the K’ómoks, Tla’amin (formerly Sliammon), Homalco, We Wai Kai and Wei Wai Kum, and Hul’qumi’num Treaty Group peoples since time immemorial.
