We're inviting local audio, lighting, and video technicians to join us for a Technical Open House on Tuesday, October 6.
The theatre will be open from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for a casual, drop-in style evening. There’s no need to stay for the full three hours — stop by whenever works for you, spend some time in the space, check out the equipment, meet our team, and stay for as little or as long as you’d like.
The evening is intended for anyone who may be interested in taking technical calls at the Sid Williams Theatre this season and beyond. Whether you’re an experienced technician, newer to the industry, or looking to gain more hands-on experience in a professional venue, we’d love to have you stop by.
We’ll have our audio, lighting, and video systems available to check out, with opportunities to get hands-on with some of the gear. Our house technicians will be around to answer questions, talk through how we operate the venue, and give you an idea of what to expect when working a call with us.
This isn’t intended to be a formal training session or interview. It’s simply a chance to get into the theatre, meet some of the team, become more familiar with the venue and equipment, and have some good tech conversations.
Coffee and donuts will be provided!
