Marc Atkinson is foremost a masterful acoustic guitarist, further defined by his talents as a composer. He is well known for his contributions to Canada’s roots/acoustic super group, The Bills and has emerged as a record producer for a growing list of artists. Marc received the Instrumental Solo Artist of the Year at the 2021 Canadian Folk Music Awards. He is a Juno nominee, and winner of two Western Canadian Music Awards, including a nomination for Outstanding Album Award. The Marc Atkinson Trio II was voted one of the top five albums in North America by Acoustic Guitar Magazine.

Daniel Lapp grew up in Prince George, BC, in a house with deep prairie roots that included his musical mother, an old-time piano player/teacher, and a grandpa and five uncles who were all committed to the old-time dancing fiddle tradition. Over the past 30 years he has toured across Europe, Australia, China, Israel, the USA, and Canada playing a plethora of musical styles from jazz to electronic music. He has performed on a variety of instruments with many recognizable names such as Spirit of the West, Rickie Lee Jones, 54-40, Gord Downie, Barney Bentall, Jim Byrnes, Jim Cuddy, Elvis Costello, Lou Reed, Stephen Fearing, Hugh Fraser, Ed Robertson, Danny Michel, Broken Social Scene, Lennie Gallant, Jerry Holland, and Roy Forbes.

Inspired by a decade of travel to Baja, Mexico and influenced by her West Coast surroundings in British Columbia, twenty-seven year-old session artist Christy Vanden's musical journey is always evolving! This will be Christy's third time playing on the Sid Williams Theatre stage, and first time as a solo artist! Expect hopeful, uplifting original acoustic guitar compositions from her upcoming instrumental EP Unexpected Road.
