Courtenay Little Theatre (CLT) is excited to be hosting the Theatre BC 2022 North Island Zone Drama Festival.
Featuring five Canadian plays over four nights, this is an opportunity for audiences to enjoy a variety of fabulous plays presented by community theatre groups from all over the North Island.
CLT will present Girl in the Goldfish Bowl
by Morris Panych on May 17th, Rivercity Players from Campbell River will present Jonas and Barry in the Home
by Norm Foster on May 18th, Nanaimo Theatre Group will present two one act plays Legoland
by Jacob Richmond and Never Swim Alone
by Daniel MacIvor on May 19th, and our final evening will feature How It Works
by Daniel MacIvor presented by E.C.H.O Players from Qualicum Beach on May 20th.
This annual festival is an opportunity for our North Island community to celebrate the Joy of Live Theatre at the Sid Williams Theatre. Immediately following each production, you will have the opportunity to stay for a short public adjudication by our festival adjudicator, Tamara McCarthy.

Required Safety Protocols
There are no required safety protocols, but this is subject to change in accordance with BC public health and/or municipal guidelines.
Masks are not required, but we strongly encourage patrons to continue to wear masks during events, now optional, for the benefit of all in our community. We recommend the use of masks rated N95 or higher.
