Wheelchair Services - We have a wonderful wheelchair platform area that replaces rows 13 & 14. The platform is considered by many as the best location for sound & view. Due to the generous donation from Tupper Home Health Care (Courtenay), we have a wheelchair available for use, if required. Due to limited space - a wheelchair patron can be accompanied by one assistant to sit with them on the platform. Other members of the party may sit in the row in front if seating is available. The platform area is also available to patrons with limited mobility.

Parking is available but proximal parking is limited so please arrive early. If needed, a passenger drop off area is available directly outside of the theatre's main doors.

Booster Seats - Our recent purchase of child booster seats, thanks to help from Seat Plaque donors & the C.V. Community Foundation, has been a big hit with parents & their children attending theatre events. These seats also make the theatre experience more enjoyable for adults in need of 'a boost', whether it is to improve stage visibility, or as a cushion after knee surgery.

Hearing Assistance - Hearing assistance is provided as a courtesy and is free of charge. However we do ask for the user's name & phone number with a credit card or car keys as security for return of the system.

The system is a FM Transmitter on 107.5 FM. Users have the choice of a neckloop, single earpiece or double headphone. The neckloop is to use with hearing aid(s) that must be in the Telephone (T) or Micro-Telephone (MT) position. The single ear and double headphone work as a normal stereo headset. All three systems attach to a small handheld radio. The FM system connects to microphones off stage. As hearing loss is individual, the system will work differently for each person. While the system works great for most users, it is not a solution for everyone.

Quiet Room - Our Family Area is located as a 15th row on the right hand side of the Theatre. It can accommodate 4 seated patrons and has a sound barrier glass in place for viewing. The room is great for restless children or for covering up a cough. Sound is however not 100% contained, so please be considerate to other patrons when dealing with crying infants. Stage sound is available in the Quiet room only with events that have performers using microphones.

Attire & Considerations - The Theatre does not have any official dress code. When you attend, you will likely see people wearing anything from jeans & t-shirts to formalwear. If you are concerned about what to wear to the theatre, we recommend that you come in business office or dressy-casual attire -- you'll feel neither over-dressed nor under-dressed!
Please be considerate to other patrons
*For the comfort of the patron beside you, do not use perfumes or aftershave as we are a scent Sensitive building.
*Cell phone and pagers must be turned OFF!
*Most performances are for adult audiences (unless otherwise stated), please make other arrangements for children or adults that may disturb other patrons.
*As in any establishment, Theatre Staff & Volunteers have the right to refuse entrance or ask someone to leave.
*No Flash Photos or Audio/Video recording devices - it's copyright laws that make this rule.
*No food (including candy) or drink, other than bottled water within the auditorium...

Children at the Theatre -
Most performances are for adult audiences (unless otherwise stated).
All children 14 and under must be accompanied and seated next to a parent, guardian or supervising adult. Fire Regulations call for any child over the age of 18 months to have a paid seat to the performance. Young children are not always permitted to shows that are not age appropriate and in some cases children under the age of 18 months must have a paid seat (whether babes-in-arms or not). Please check with the Ticket Centre on event regulations before bringing your children.

Parking
There are 2 adjacent parking lots and plenty of parking available on local streets. Please remember to check the street signs to make sure you are parked legally.

Handicapped parking is available in the upper parking lot next to the Sid. For your convenience, there is a drop-off area in front of the main theatre doors on Cliffe Avenue.
